چکیده

A post-processing tool for experimental data is developed to rebuild the instantaneous and local distributions of fuel port diameter regression rate throughout conduct during a firing test. The main objective use methodology be able, at given instant test, simulate hybrid rocket engine configuration validate related numerical modeling. based on coupling between mass flow obtained by ballistic reconstruction technique measurement after method adapted applied an rocket, using hydrogen peroxide/high density polyethlylene propellants, with catalytic injector (HYCAT). Firstly, set representative tests selected from HYCAT testing campaign. Secondly, analytical approach leads evolutions profiles conduct. rebuilt show ability restore space time distribution diameter. Nevertheless, some limitations even though average coherent trends.

Time-Dependent Real-Space Renormalization Group Method

In this paper, using the tight-binding model, we extend the real-space renormalization group method to time-dependent Hamiltonians. We drive the time-dependent recursion relations for the renormalized tight-binding Hamiltonian by decimating selective sites of lattice iteratively. The formalism is then used for the calculation of the local density of electronic states for a one dimensional quant...

Unsteady Ballistic Code for Performance Prediction of Solid Propellant Rocket Engines

Solid Propellant Rockets (SPRs) by their very nature embody in their chemical properties and geometry the whole history of grain combustion from ignition to burnout. Thus, the development of robust and reliable ballistic codes for accurate prediction of SPR performance is critical for their cost-effective utilization in space propulsion applications, especially in the case of launch vehicle boo...

Numerical and Experimental Investigation of Motor Pressure Effect on Thermochemical Erosion of Graphite Nozzle in Solid Fuel Engines

Using heat shield, especially in throat area has a significant effect on combustion chamber pressure and thermal efficiency of solid fuel engines. Precise prediction of the regression of throat area for different pressures, will lead to optimal design of the motors, specifically for those of long burnout times. In this work, erosion of graphite nozzles employed in solid propellant motors with a...
